Bianca Scheidt, DVM

Dr. Scheidt was born in Germany and grew up in the small village of Michelbach. She was always interested in working with animals, and this led her to training as an animal health technologist. After her apprenticeship, she enrolled in the Veterinary University of Leipzig, Germany, and she graduated as a veterinarian in 2003. Dr. Scheidt has always loved traveling, and this brought her to the Animal Care Hospital in 2002 as a student, then permanently to Quesnel in 2003. Dr. Scheidt began her Canadian veterinary career as an animal health technologist at our Quesnel hospital, eventually becoming the hospital manager. In 2006, she married Bernie, a Canadian. And in 2008, Dr. Scheidt completed her Canadian qualifications and shifted into her role as a veterinarian on the Animal Care Hospital team.
